Overview

Blacksands Pacific's Marketing, Trading and Other segment transports, stores, purchases and markets crude oil (including NGLs and condensate) and natural gas. The segment provides low-cost services to other Blacksands Pacific segments as well as third parties and operates storage facilities. In addition, the marketing and trading group markets Blacksands Pacific's and third-party oil and gas, trades around the marketing segment assets and engages in commodities trading.

The Marketing, Trading and Other segment comprises the following businesses:

CO2 Source Fields and Facilities – Blacksands Pacific is a user of CO2 injection for enhanced oil recovery (EOR), a technique used to increase production from mature wells. CO2 is processed and transported for use in Blacksands Pacific's EOR program.
Marketing and Trading – These groups consist of Blacksands Pacific Energy Trade & Supply, LLC (BSPETS), and Blacksands Pacific Energy Services Limited (BSPES), which markets Blacksands Pacific’s equity production and engages in third-party marketing and trading activities; and BSP Cherokee, which trades commodities and securities.

BLACKSANDS PACIFIC is the trademark name for all BLACKSANDS PACIFIC businesses including Oil & Gas Exploration and Production, Marketing & Trading, and Upstream Oilfield Services. THE BLACKSANDS PACIFIC GROUP is incorporated in the State of Delaware with subsidiaries incorporated in the State of Delaware, the Bermuda and Hong Kong.
